ID’s Optional Patent Attorney Referral Service (OPARS) allows ID’s clients to explore all of their possible options, without further obligation, regarding the protection of their product idea, irrespective of what level of development they have achieved with it at that point in time.

Member firms in the OPARS consist of attorneys with extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property protection, including but not limited to the searching and filing of provisional patents, utility and design patents, trademarks, and copyrights.

The OPARS offers ID clients the additional benefit of significantly discounted rates for all of the professional services provided by the firms that are part of the program. Essentially, while ID insures that the client’s product licensing negotiation needs are met, the member patent attorney firms of OPARS help them secure their concept appropriately. With proper intellectual property protection in place for their ideas, ID clients have the peace of mind that their concepts enjoy a considerable measure of security when presented to manufacturers, marketers, and distributors throughout industry.
