Innovation Direct™ inventor’s novelty balloon item catches the eye of Texas-based manufacturer; non-disclosure agreement sent…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back in the saddle with another update regarding an invention garnering interest from a manufacturer. On this occasion, the concept is a novelty balloon item and the company is a Texas-based outfit that manufactures and markets balloons of all types along with other products, such as kites, flying disks, and party goods. According to their official website, they are also members of the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI), an organization of promotional product manufacturers and distributors which holds trade show events that Innovation Direct™ has participated in in the past, most recently in July 2008.

The company had received preliminary, non-confidential materials about the invention several weeks ago and had apparently found those to be sufficiently intriguing so as to request access to all of the detailed design information about the concept. In response, a non-disclosure agreement was sent that if signed, will allow us to grant them access to the confidential information available regarding the invention.
