Innovation Direct™ attempts follow-up via e-mail with ASI Show Orlando 2008 lead regarding inventions being reviewed…
Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update regarding a company that we had originally met at January’s ASI Show Orlando 2008. The manufacturer, which has offices in both Naples, Florida and China, had been sent preliminary, non-confidential information on 21 product ideas from the Innovation Direct™ roster in various categories back in mid-January in their initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package, shortly after the show had concluded.
Our contact at the manufacturer had promptly gotten back to the Innovation Direct™ representative managing their Innovation Direct To Industry™ account and had informed him that 6 items from the group were of further interest. After the requisite agreement on confidentiality was reached, the company had been sent access to all of the detailed design information on the inventions they’d specified.
Since that point however, Innovation Direct™ has not been able to obtain the company’s subsequent feedback on the 6 inventions. The Innovation Direct™ representative managing their Innovation Direct To Industry™ account had last spoken to the company contact back in early March, and he had explained that he had been traveling to the company’s China office regularly and had therefore not had an opportunity to review the information. With 4 weeks having passed since that communication, a follow-up e-mail was sent today.
We now await what hopefully will be a positive response from this company and we will certainly pass along the details on whatever transpires, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Check back with us!
