Innovation Direct™ inventor’s outdoor accessory recipient of initial interest from two manufacturers; non-disclosure agreements sent…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our first update for a Thursday. We are pleased to report that we have received a number of inquiries about Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas today, which we will be detailing in posts throughout the day.

The first invention is an outdoor accessory targeted to campers for use with their tents. The first company expressing an interest is a Buffalo, New York-based manufacturer of all sorts of canvases and tents for a variety of different industries. The company had recently received preliminary, non-confidential materials about the invention and found them to be sufficiently intriguing to request to see the detailed design information available on it. Consequently, Innovation Direct™ sent the company a non-disclosure agreement earlier Thursday, the signing of which will allow us to provide them with access to that information.

The second firm is a Texas-based company that had originally received the initial information about the invention in early September. As was the case with the first manufacturer mentioned above, the company found the preliminary, non-confidential details they had received to be of enough interest to warrant them requesting to see more information. As with the first company, a non-disclosure agreement is already on its way and will allow for Innovation Direct™’s release of detailed design information if and when it is returned with a signature.

We will report on any developments with these evolving situations, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Stay tuned for the latest!
