Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up letters and second copies of non-disclosure agreements for personal medical accessory to two manufacturers…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back in the saddle with another update. Earlier Friday, follow-up letters and second copies of a non-disclosure agreement were sent to two manufacturers that had expressed an initial interest in an Innovation Direct™ inventor’s personal medical accessory approximately one month ago. We had initially reported on these matters in January 13th (“International Technology Transfer inventor’s personal medical accessory subject of initial interest from New York-based manufacturer; preliminary materials and non-disclosure agreement sent…“) and January 15th entries (“International Technology Transfer inventor’s personal medical accessory once again recipient of initial interest from manufacturer; non-disclosure agreement sent…“), respectively.
As we’d explained in both postings, the companies had received preliminary, non-confidential information on the inventions and had been sufficiently intrigued by the materials so as to request additional details. As per our usual procedure, non-disclosure agreements had been sent to them at that time for signature. With about a month having passed since that point, we felt it would be prudent to attempt follow-up communication at this point.
Naturally, if and when either or both of the confidentiality guarantees are returned we will be able to provide the company or companies that sent them access to all of the detailed design information available for the concept. Check back with the Innovation Direct™ Blog for all updates to this situation!
