Update: Innovation Direct™ initiates invention searches for two more Innovation Direct To Industry™ companies…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’ s Director of Product Licensing, checking in one final time this week with another Innovation Direct To Industry™-related update. Earlier Friday, searches through the Innovation Direct™ database were initiated on behalf of two more companies that are part of the program and that are due their next package of items to review.
The first company is a Michigan-based outfit that has been a part of the program for several months, and that has reviewed over 30 Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas during that span. We had most recently reported on this company in a March 19th posting (“Update: Innovation Direct™ sends Innovation Direct To Industry™ package of 5 inventions to Michigan-based manufacturer; feedback already received…“). As we’d explained in that entry, the company retained an interest in 1 out of the 5 concepts they had reviewed from the package we had just sent them at that point, an item that they are incidentally still deliberating the merits of.
The second company that is having a package prepared on their behalf is an Oklahoma-based manufacturer that first joined the Innovation Direct To Industry™ program last summer, and that has evaluated close to 60 Innovation Direct™ inventor concepts during that period. The manufacturer is actually the exclusive U.S.-based licensee of a globally-renowned electronics brand, and actively seeks products in the home security, computer accessories, consumer electronics, and home automation categories.
As soon as the latest batch of inventions for these companies are completed and sent we will bring you the news, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Join us Monday for the latest!
