Update: Innovation Direct™ receives response to post-Housewares Show e-mail follow-up from California-based infomercial powerhouse…

Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back once more with another exciting update. We are pleased to report that we have received our first response from the batch of Home and Housewares Show-related follow-up e-mails that were sent this morning by Innovation Direct™ representatives, and that we alluded to in our first entry of the day (“Innovation Direct™ reaches out to 18 additional 2008 Home and Housewares Show exhibitors…“). The response received is from the Product Development manager at a California-based infomercial powerhouse that has been in business since 1991.

The e-mail emphasized that the company was always interested in reviewing new product ideas in categories such as household, cleaning, exercise and fitness, and garden tools and supplies. According to their official website, the company has launched scores of considerably successful and renowned products over the years through their television infomercials, and has then capitalized on the momentum created by that exposure by placing the items in retail juggernauts such as Bed, Bath and Beyond, Wal-Mart, Target, and Walgreens.
