Update: Innovation Direct™ sends new Innovation Direct To Industry™ package to Missouri-based company…
Good morning, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our first update on a Tuesday. Early this morning, an Innovation Direct To Industry™ package consisting of 10 lawn and garden product ideas was finalized and sent to our contact at a Missouri-based company that has been part of the program for over a year. This is the same company we had most recently reported on in an April 24th entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives feedback on latest Innovation Direct To Industry™ package from Missouri-based company…“).
In that posting, we had explained that the company had just reviewed another batch of Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas in April, and had retained an advanced level of interest in one of them, a pet accessory. The company explained they are still reviewing the merits of the invention and the licensing proposal sent to them by the Innovation Direct™ representative that manages their Innovation Direct To Industry™ account at this time, but were also interested in reviewing 10 new items in the lawn and garden category. Accordingly, the aforementioned Innovation Direct™ representative promptly culled a new group of concepts in that category for their review.
As mentioned on other occasions, this company has already signed a permanent non-disclosure agreement with Innovation Direct™, meaning that they receive access to the detailed design information on each invention we send them right from the onset. As a result, when we receive their impressions we will have an idea if any of these product ideas are of an advanced level of interest.
