Update: Ohio-based company retains further interest in more than half of Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas included in initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package…
Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with our first Thursday report. Updating a situation we had most recently reported on in a March 31st entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ sends 16 invention Innovation Direct To Industry™ package to International Home and Housewares Show lead…“), Innovation Direct™ has received feedback via e-mail this afternoon from our contact at an Ohio-based household products company that was a fellow exhibitor at the 2008 International Home and Housewares Show and that was just sent their initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package.
As we’d noted in the aforementioned posting, the company had been sent preliminary, non-confidential information on 16 items from the Innovation Direct™ roster for review. We are pleased to report that today’s correspondence from our contact indicated that his company has an interest in obtaining detailed design informaton on 9 inventions from the batch, and that a non-disclosure agreement that encompasses all of these items has already been prepared and sent by Innovation Direct™ to them for signature.
Naturally, once confidentiality has been secured in the form of a signed copy of the agreement, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing this company’s Innovation Direct To Industry™ account will forward the company access to all of the detailed design information available for each concept.
Stay tuned to the Innovation Direct™ Blog for the latest with this developing situation!
