Update: Innovation Direct™ follows up with Illinois-based hardware products company regarding initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package; feedback should come soon…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct ‘s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our latest update. Earlier Wednesday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of an Illinois-based hardware products manufacturer placed a follow-up telephone call to the firm’s president regarding the initial batch of preliminary, non-confidential information that had been sent to them. We had reported on the preparation and sending of this Innovation Direct To Industry™ package in a February 6th entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ conducts telephone meeting with newest Innovation Direct To Industry™ company; first package of inventions already prepared and sent…“).
In spite of an attempt to follow up via e-mail on February 19th (“Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up e-mail to Illinois-based hardware products company regarding initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package…“), we had not heard back from the manufacturer since the date the package was sent. Consequently, our colleague felt that a phone call was in order at this time. Fortunately, he was able to speak to the company president directly, who explained that he had been traveling extensively throughout the previous 2 weeks and had therefore only had a chance to print out the batch of invention information. However, he did make a verbal commitment to our colleague to try to have some feedback for him within the next week to 10 days.
We are certainly glad that a direct contact was able to be made, and look forward to this manufacturer’s impressions on the concepts sent. Check in with us frequently for the latest news regarding this situation!
