Update: Innovation Direct™ receives response from Missouri-based manufacturer regarding previously licensed Rock and Mulch Guard invention…

Good day, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking back in with an update on a situation we’d reported on just last night (“Innovation Direct™ requests update from Missouri-based licensee of Rock and Mulch Guard product…“). Earlier Thursday, the Innovation Direct™ representative that had sent an e-mail to the manufacturer that was the subject of that posting requesting an update on the previously licensed Rock and Mulch Guard invention received a reply from the company’s president.

As per the correspondence received, the company has decided not to pursue the commercialization of the invention any further. They had apparently come close to distribution deals on multiple occasions but ultimately, were never able to garner sufficient interest in the item as to warrant going into full production.
