Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back with an update on a situation we’d reported on in a March 26th posting (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives copy of updated product description and drawing from inventor of fitness accessory…“). Earlier Thursday, the inventor of the fitness accessory that was the subject of that entry sent an updated and expanded product description and features and benefits overview that the potential licensee of his concept, a Las Vegas-based infomercial company, had requested.

As we’d explained in the aformentioned posting, the manufacturer contact had asked the inventor that he expound more on how his product idea was superior to an exisiting similar product on the market, and provide more specific details on which muscles his item would target. This time around the inventor provided a much lengthier and detailed summary of these aspects of his product, and it would appear the potential licensee will be able to utilize the material to make a strong case for the invention with her superiors at the company.
