Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up letter and second copy of non-disclosure agreement for bedding accessory to Michigan-based manufacturer…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on a situation we had most recently reported on in a March 17th posting (“Innovation Direct™ inventor’s bedding accessory subject of initial interest from Michigan-based manufacturer; non-disclosure agreement sent…“). Earlier Friday, Innovation Direct™ sent a follow-up letter and second copy of a non-disclosure agreement to a Michigan-based manufacturer that had expressed initial interest in the bedding accessory from our roster that was the subject of that entry.

The manufacturer had requested more detailed design information on the product idea after having reviewed preliminary, non-confidential materials and finding them sufficiently intriguing. In response to their communication of interest at the time, Innovation Direct™ had sent the company contact a non-disclosure agreement for signature, in order to make the release of confidential information an eventual possibility. With exactly one month having passed since the document was sent, we felt it would be prudent to send the follow-up correspondence at this point in time.
