Update: Innovation Direct™ speaks to cake accessory inventor regarding manufacturer’s question…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, here with an update on a situation we had just reported on yesterday (“Innovation Direct™ receives update from industry partner regarding new interest in cake accessory…“). Earlier Friday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of our West Coast-based industry partner received a return phone call from the inventor of a cake accessory that one of the companies he does business with has taken an interest in. Our colleague had left a message for the inventor to inquire about whether there was a prototype of the invention.

As per this afternoon’s conversation, the inventor does have a rough prototype that she will attempt to locate and send to us. At the very least, the inventor feels that she should be able to provide measurements and estimates on the dimensions of the unit. We are certainly pleased to receive this news and will continue to provide updates, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Check in often!
