Update: Innovation Direct™ facilitates conference call with inventor and potential licensee of bedding accessory…

Hello once again, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming back in with an update on an invention we had last reported on in an April 21st posting (“Update: Innovation Direct™ inventor sends second set of magnet manufacturer contact information to potential licensee…“). Earlier Monday, Innovation Direct™ facilitated the latest scheduled conference call between the potential licensee of a bedding accessory from our roster and the inventor of the concept. The main purpose of the conversation was for the manufacturer to provide the inventor and Innovation Direct™ an update on his latest efforts to reach the prototype stage with the invention.

As per today’s conversation, the manufacturer will be meeting this weekend with a graphic designer that will be putting together the packaging and “point of sale” display for the product. He expects to be able to send the visuals of this material within a week or so after the meeting. He also continues to perform his due diligence on the magnet suppliers that the inventor had forwarded him at his request. According to the company representative, he will be establishing a deadline for himself for when he will decide whether it will be feasible to use magnets in the product, or whether an alternative that he already has in mind as a back-up plan will be implemented instead.

The company contact also provided some detailed information on a specific aspect of the materials for the product during the call.
