Breaking News: Innovation Direct™ receives feedback on 3 inventions stemming from New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company’s Invention Commitee meeting…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, quickly checking with some breaking news. Updating a situation we had most recently reported on in an April 11th entry (“Innovation Direct™ sends specialized virtual reality presentations on 3 inventions to New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company…“) Innovation Direct™ has received an update from our contact at the New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company that had signed an exclusive developmental agreement for 3 inventions.
As we’d explained in the aforementioned posting, the company was scheduled to have an Invention Committee meeting today, wherein the specialized virtual reality presentations on the 3 product ideas would be viewed and discussed. As per the e-mail received from our contact this afternoon, the two most recent items they’d taken an interest in will not be going any further with them, due to the Committee’s consensus that the inventions do not really address any significant problem for consumers.
The third product however, a fitness accessory that the company had been reviewing longer than the other two items, is moving on to the next phase of consideration. According to our contact’s correspondence this afternoon, the invention will be discussed with a television producer as the next step to evaluate its viability as a possible infomercial product.
While we are somewhat disappointed with the outcome for 2 of the product ideas, we are certainly enthused by the potential brewing with the fitness product still being considered for possible licensing. Naturally, we will keep Innovation Direct™ Blog readers apprised of any developments with this situation here in this space. Check in with us often!
