Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with the lowdown on what has become the annual “summer kick-off” on our trade show itinerary, Licensing International! The 2014 edition of the event will take place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada between June 17th and 19th.
As per the show’s official website, the Licensing Expo has connected the worlds’ most influential entertainment, character, fashion, art and corporate brand owners with consumer goods manufacturers, licensees and retailers for the past 30 years of its existence. This show is renowned as the place where the global licensing industry converges each year, and features attendees and exhibitors looking to build strategic and profitable partnerships with a wide variety of intellectual property.
According to the official statistics gathered by the show organizers, over 400 exhibitors representing more than 5,000 brands and more than 15,000 key decision making retailers, manufacturers, marketing and advertising professionals attended the 2013 edition of the proceedings, across all consumer product categories. These type of prolific numbers obviously bode well for the eclectic mix of inventions on the Innovation Direct™ roster!
