Innovation Direct™ inventor’s personal medical accessory once again recipient of initial interest from manufacturer; non-disclosure agreement sent…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back in the saddle with another update. Earlier Thursday, Innovation Direct™ received an indication of initial interest in a personal medical accessory from a Minnesota-based plastics manufacturer that has been in business for over a decade. This happens to be the same invention we had just reported on in a January 13th entry (“International Technology Transfer inventor’s personal medical accessory subject of initial interest from New York-based manufacturer; preliminary materials and non-disclosure agreement sent…“).
As was the case with the interest alluded to in that posting, the inventor made the first contact with the company via e-mail. After explaining to them that he was searching for a manufacturer to eventually license his invention, the company contact expressed an interest in learning more about the concept. At that point, the inventor promptly forwarded the e-mail exchange to Innovation Direct™, and preliminary, non-confidential information and a non-disclosure agreement were sent to the manufacturer via e-mail shortly thereafter.
We will continue to keep you abreast of any developments with this situation, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Stay tuned!
