Innovation Direct™ inventor’s personal medical accessory subject of initial interest from New York-based manufacturer; preliminary materials and non-disclosure agreement sent…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our latest update regarding one of our inventors’ product ideas becoming a subject of interest to a manufacturer. On this occasion, the invention is a personal medical accessory from our roster and the company is a New York-based outfit that manufactures a wide variety of plastic and metal products. The inventor had contacted the firm via e-mail recently and explained that he was seeking a company to license his invention, and they had responded with an interest in reviewing preliminary, non-confidential information about the concept.

Accordingly, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the situation has already e-mailed the company contact a press release and product features summary, along with a non-disclosure agreement. We are certainly hopeful that the manufacturer will deem the preliminary materials of sufficient interest so as to sign the guarantee of confidentiality, but only time will tell. As soon as any developments with this situation do occur we will bring you the details, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Stay tuned!
