Innovation Direct™ prepares, sends 10 invention Innovation Direct To Industry™ package to National Hardware Show 2008 lead…

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with another update. Earlier Thursday, the Innovation Direct™ representative that will manage the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of a California-based tool company that was a fellow exhibitor at last May’s National Hardware Show prepared and sent preliminary, non-confidential information on 10 product ideas from our roster that he thought would be potentially good matches for the manufacturer’s product lines. We had initially reported on this company and our attempts to have an introductory telephone call with them in a December 2nd entry (“Update: International Technology Transfer set to add California-based tool manufacturer to Innovation Direct To Industry™ program; initial package to be prepared soon…“).

As we’d explained in that posting, we had not been able to have a detailed phone conversation with the company contact but were going to attempt to reschedule the call. Conflicting schedules and other obstacles have not rendered that possible, so earlier Thursday, our aforementioned colleague opted to prepare and send the company their first package in the interest of not delaying matters any further.
