Innovation Direct™ inventor’s personal safety accessory recipient of initial interest from Mississippi-based company; non-disclosure agreement sent…

Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™s Director of Product Licensing, chiming back in with another update. Earlier Monday, Innovation Direct™ received a telephone call regarding a personal safety accessory from the owner and Chief Executive Officer of a Mississippi-based manufacturer that has been producing and distributing general safety equipment and supplies for over 25 years. The company had recently received preliminary, non-confidential information on the invention and had found it sufficiently intriguing to warrant placing a telephone call to request more details.

The invention’s unique features insure that the person utilizing it can receive an adequate level of hydration during any physical activity. It is simple and comfortable to wear and will provide peace of mind with regards to the proper hydration of the body to those who engage in strenuous tasks or sports outdoors.

As explained to the gentleman during the telephone call, a non-disclosure agreement will need to be signed before any detailed design information can be divulged. Consequently, the manufacturer has already been e-mailed an NDA for the invention and as per our telephone conversation, he will be returning it promptly. Once received, we will be providing access to the invention website, which will offer the company a comprehensive overview of the concept.

Naturally, all pertinent developments with this situation will be found here in this space. Check back with the Innovation Direct™ Blog for the latest!
