Innovation Direct™ follows up with exhibitors personally met at International Home and Housewares Show 2009; 3 responses received, phone meeting scheduled with Canadian infomercial company…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking back in with another update pertaining to our follow-up efforts with exhibitors at the International Home and Housewares Show 2009. Earlier Thursday, a Innovation Direct™ representative sent follow-up e-mails to the considerable number of exhibitors that our trade show representative had met during the event. We had reported on many of these companies within a March 24th entry (“Innovation Direct™ makes extensive contacts during final day of International Home and Housewares Show 2009…“).

The e-mails sent to these companies, which were somewhat different in content than those sent to approximately 70 fellow exhibitors from the show that our colleague had not spoken directly to, emphasized the fact that they had briefly dialogued with our representative at their booth during the proceedings. Our communication also went on to reinforce our Innovation Direct To Industry™ program and requested the companies respond with an affirmation that they were prepared to begin reviewing new product information from our company.

We are pleased to report that we have already received responses from 3 manufacturers from this group. The trio of companies consists of a Pennsylvania-based outfit, ARG Manufacturing, Inc., that is seeking kitchen products, non-electric housewares, and lawn and garden items; a New Jersey-based manufacturer and marketer of household, automotive, lawn and garden, fitness, office, and back-to-school items that is always interested in new concepts, Venture Products, LLC; and a Canadian leader in the infomercial industry, Northern Response, that had been mentioned prominently in that aforementioned posting on March 24th.

We are already making plans to initiate searches through our database Friday for Venture Products’ initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package, and also have received a request for an introductory phone conversation from the Corporate Development Manager for Northern Response, a call that appears to be set for Monday, April 6th at 3:00pm.
