Innovation Direct™ looks forward to participation in International Home and Housewares Show 2009…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on our next trade show. Innovation Direct™ is pleased to announce that we will be participating in the 2009 edition of the renowned International Home and Housewares Show, taking place at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois between March 22nd and 24th.

As per the event’s official website, the International Home and Housewares Show is “the world’s largest homegoods & housewares marketplace, showcasing thousands of new products and designs in four related product expos.” The proceedings are divided into four main categories: Clean and Contain, Dine and Design, Wired and Well, and the Global Crossroads pavilion (an area reserved exclusively for international exhibitors).

The official event site also announces that they expect 60,000 attendees and over 2,000 exhibitors for the 2009 edition, certainly making it one of the most well-attended shows on our itinerary. At Innovation Direct™, we can certainly attest to the considerable value that this show has had for us in the past. In fact, not only have we made several valuable contacts that are now part of our Innovation Direct To Industry™ program, but we also first met our often mentioned West Coast-based industry partner, who has been integral in the securing of multiple licensing agreements for Innovation Direct™ clients, at the 2005 edition of this event.
