Innovation Direct™ receives indication of initial interest in pet-related ATV accessory from Cambridge Metal and Plastics; non-disclosure agreement sent for signature…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with a report of initial interest being displayed in a pet-related ATV accessory from our roster. Earlier Thursday, Innovation Direct™ received communication from the inventor of the item in which she forwarded an e-mail exchange she recently had recently engaged in with an executive of Cambridge Metal and Plastics, an Minnesota-based manufacturer. The inventor had introduced her product concept in general terms to an industry partner of Cambridge Metal and Plastics, who in turn had forwarded the materials to them.

In his correspondence, the Cambridge representative had requested more information and visuals on the invention. Accordingly, a Innovation Direct™ representative has already e-mailed the gentleman a non-disclosure agreement, along with an explanation of how our company is involved in the entire process of trying to obtain a licensing agreement for the product idea.  It was also explained to Cambridge that returning the agreement with signature will enable Innovation Direct™ to provide them with access to all of the detailed design information available on the concept.

We are hopeful of receiving the signed guarantee of confidentiality in prompt fashion and will provide you with updates as warranted, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Check in often!
