Innovation Direct™ receives request for new product category from West Coast-based industry partner; searches to be initiated tomorrow…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with an update regarding our West Coast-based industry partner. Earlier Thursday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of our industry colleague received a request from him for a new category of inventions. The communication was prompted by a company that our industry partner does business with and that holds the license for a well-known girls intellectual property brand requesting items that would be targeted to that market segment.

As our industry partner explained, the products could be in a wide variety of sub-categories, such as stationery, room decor, electronics, and games, just to name a few. Accordingly, our Innovation Direct™ colleague will begin searches through the Innovation Direct™ database tomorrow in an attempt to identify appropriate candidates to send to our industry partner for review.
