Innovation Direct™ receives response to Innovation Direct To Industry™ e-mail from Texas-based CD3, Inc.; initial package likely to be prepared soon…
Good day, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back in the saddle with our latest report. Earlier Tuesday, Innovation Direct™ received an e-mail from Texas-based CD3, Inc., a direct response company that had received a recent e-mail from our company touting the Innovation Direct To Industry™ program. CD3 had been one of the member companies of the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) targeted in our Innovation Direct To Industry™ e-mail campaign of July 22nd (http://innovationdirectonline.com/blog/?p=1072).
As per the communication received from one of the company principals, since their founding in 1991, CD3 had traditionally focused on the almost exclusive in-house development of their own inventions. In recent years, he went on to explain, the company has apparently begun serious consideration of innovations submitted by sources external to them. The correspondence went on to introduce a contact at one of CD3’s affiliate companies that would serve as the point of contact for any product idea submissions. In response, our colleague sent communication to the newly identified contact and requested that he provide additional insight into CD3’s confidentiality policies and product category preferences.
