Innovation Direct™ seeks update from licensee of Help and Care at the Dentist invention…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on another previously licensed product. Earlier Wednesday, the Innovation Direct™ representative that had been instrumental in the signing of a licensing agreement for the Help and Care at the Dentist invention back in late 2006 sent out an e-mail to the president of the company requesting an update on the latest developments with the attempted commercialization of the product. The licensee and Innovation Direct™ have had regular e-mail contact since shortly after the product was licensed, but had not exchanged correspondence since early March.

As per the manufacturer’s last update, they were in the process of trying to arrange distribution possibilities with a couple of different major dental products companies but the feedback from these entities had been very slow to come. At the time of the most recent e-mail, the licensee had expected to be able to provide another update the very following week and with almost two months having elapsed since, we felt it would be a prudent time to attempt to obtain an update.
