Update: Georgia-based manufacturer provides feedback on Innovation Direct™ inventor’s personal emergency accessory, accepts Innovation Direct To Industry™ invite…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™ ‘s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on a situation we had just reported on yesterday (“Innovation Direct™ inventor’s personal emergency accessory subject of interest and signed non-disclosure agreement from Georgia-based manufacturer…“). As we’d mentioned in that posting, a Georgia-based manufacturer of water sports products had signed a non-disclosure agreement for a personal emergency accessory from the Innovation Direct™ roster and as a result, had received access to all of the detailed design information available on the invention.
Earlier Wednesday, our contact at the company, who serves as their Director of Research and Development, provided his feedback on the material he reviewed on the invention website he had been granted access to. As per his e-mail communication to Innovation Direct™ , the company will pass on going any further with the invention, in part because they have already been working on a similar item for several months internally.
However, the gentleman also expressed a willingness to have his company included in Innovation Direct™’s dynamic new product idea subscription service for manufacturers, Innovation Direct To Industry™. When the Innovation Direct™ representative managing this situation had sent the company the access to the detailed information on the aforementioned invention, he had also extended an invitation regarding the program, which the manufacturer readily accepted. Therefore, the company’s initial batch of product idea information will be prepared and sent soon.
Stay tuned to the Innovation Direct™ Blog for all updates regarding our evolving relationship with this company!
