Update: Innovation Direct™ attempts contact with Las Vegas-based infomercial company regarding possible conference call on fitness accessory…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back with an update regarding a situation we had most recently reported on in a February 2nd entry (“Update: International Technology Transfer receives update from Las Vegas-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company regarding advanced level of interest in fitness accessory…“). Late Tuesday evening, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of the Las Vegas-based infomercial outfit that was the subject of that posting attempted to reach out to his contact at the company via e-mail for an update regarding their interest in a fitness accessory from our roster.

As we’d explained in the aforementioned posting, our colleague had suggested to his contact that a conference call with the inventor be scheduled in order to address some questions the manufacturer had about the product idea. The company representative had responded later that day by saying that a call with the company president was a possiblity, but we had heard nothing since that point. Consequently, the consensus was that the timing was right to attempt to obtain an update.
