Update: Innovation Direct™ conducts e-mail follow-ups with multiple leads from SHOT Show 2009…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a SHOT Show 2009-related update. As we’d explained in a January 30th posting (“Innovation Direct™ begins Innovation Direct To Industry™ campaign with exhibitors of SHOT Show 2009…“), we had initiated the process of attempting follow-up with some of the many companies that had exhibited at the SHOT Show 2009 last month, and that were listed in the official show guide. Earlier Tuesday, after a meeting with our representative who attended the show, we began the process of reaching out to the companies that he met personally while making the rounds of the exhibit floor.

A personalized e-mail was sent to each manufacturer contact followed up with today emphasizing that a member of our company had spoken them directly at the trade show, and reiterating that our company represented independent inventors who were ultimately seeking a licensing agreement for their innovations. An overview of how Innovation Direct™ could serve as an ongoing source of invention information through the Innovation Direct To Industry™ program was also explained in the correspondence, and a request was made for the recipient to confirm whether or not their company would indeed be amenable to reviewing new product concepts on a regular basis.

Manufacturers targeted today included several outdoor products companies, as well a Georgia-based outfit that appears to be involved in product development in a multitude of ways and also markets their own concepts.
