Update: Innovation Direct™ prepares and sends 5 invention Innovation Direct To Industry™ package to Washington-based kitchen products manufacturer…
Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our first report for a Tuesday. Earlier this morning, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of a Washington-based consumer products company prepared and sent them a new batch of invention information consisting of preliminary, non-confidential information on 5 product ideas. We had last reported on this company way back in a July 10th posting (“Update: International Technology Transfer begins searches for new Innovation Direct To Industry™ package to be sent to Washington-based company…“).
As we’d explained in that entry, we had intended to prepare and send an Innovation Direct To Industry™ package to the manufacturer later in the summer, but the manufacturer had specified they were only interested in non-electric kitchen gadgets. Considering that the manufacturer had already viewed over 90 product ideas in their time in the Innovation Direct To Industry™ program, thereby eliminating those previously viewed items as candidates to be sent, we opted to wait until there were new product concepts in the specified category that were available. With the aforementioned 5 inventions becoming part of our roster in recent months, our colleague felt the time was right to send the new package at this time.
We now await the company’s feedback and will certainly bring you the details when we receive it, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Stay tuned for the latest!
