Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our latest update. Earlier Thursday, we received feedback from the New York-based consumer products company that we had recently sent a 12 invention Innovation Direct To Industry™ package to. We had most recently reported on this situation and this company in a January 19th entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ prepares and sends 12 invention Innovation Direct To Industry™ package to New York-based consumer products company…“).

As per the e-mail correspondence received today, the company is not interested in obtaining access to the detailed design information on any of the items in the group. Our contact, the Director of Merchandising for the firm, explained that they are currently focusing on inventions that would be a good fit for television infomercials. Consequently, this latest batch of concepts were not an adequate fit, since they consisted of food and drink accessories that would sell for a lower price point than what television-based marketing would require.
