Update: Innovation Direct™ receives response to request for follow-up from Illinois-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company; feedback on package expected early next year…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with an update on a situation we had last reported on in a December 18th entry (“Update: International Technology Transfer attempts another follow-up with Illinois-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company regarding initial package…“). Earlier Monday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of the Illinois-based company that was the subject of the aforementioned posting received a long-awaited response from his contact to a request for a follow-up that he had made from them on several occasions.
Our colleague had been attempting to obtain feedback on the company’s initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package, which had consisted for preliminary, non-confidential information on 13 product ideas in a variety of categories. As per the e-mail received earlier Monday, the contact, who is the chief designer for the company, will be reviewing the invention materials with both the owner of the company and their Director of Sales and Marketing and will be getting back to us some time early in the new year.
We are certainly pleased that our persistence has paid off in this situation and hope that we will be able to kick off 2009 with some very positive news regarding this particular batch of inventions. As customary, any and all future updates to this situation will be found right here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Stay tuned!
