Update: Innovation Direct™ receives update from industry partner regarding infant accessory; licensing agreement may be forthcoming…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on a situation we had just reported on in a February 3rd entry (“Update: International Technology Transfer inventor’s infant item subject of advanced level of interest through West Coast-based industry partner; exclusive developmental licensing agreement may be forthcoming…“). Earlier Tuesday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of our West Coast-based industry partner received a report from him regarding the advanced level of interest in an infant accessory that was alluded to in the aforementioned posting.

As per our business colleague’s communication, the New York-based infant products company that is seriously considering the concept has informed him that they may want to forgo the exclusive developmental licensing agreement we had proposed to them, and instead forge ahead with executing a long-term agreement for the product idea. Given the fact that our industry partner was told this directly by the president of the company, we tend to think that there is a fairly solid chance this situation may culminate in success.
