Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up letter and second copy of non-disclosure agreement regarding auto accessory to Ohio-based company…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a report on our latest efforts to follow up with a manufacturer regarding initial interest in an Innovation Direct™ inventor product idea. Earlier Tuesday, an Innovation Direct™ representative sent a follow-up letter and second copy of a non-disclosure agreement regarding an auto accessory to an Ohio-based company that had expressed an interest in viewing detailed design information several weeks ago. In fact, we had reported on this initial interest in a December 17th entry (“International Technology Transfer inventor’s automotive accessory subject of initial interest from Ohio-based company; non-disclosure agreement sent…“).
At the time of that posting, the manufacturer requested more details on the invention after reviewing preliminary, non-confidential information about it. Per our confidentiality policy, an Innovation Direct™ representative sent the company a non-disclosure agreement in order to facilitate the eventual dissemination of detailed design information. With over a month having passed since that point and our company not having received the document in return, we felt it would be a prudent time for a follow-up.
