Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up letter to two manufacturers regarding non-disclosure agreements sent…

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, here with an update on an outdoor accessory we had last reported on in a November 20th entry (“Innovation Direct™ inventor’s outdoor accessory recipient of initial interest from two manufacturers; non-disclosure agreements sent…“). Earlier Friday, the Innovation Direct™ representative that has been managing the initial interest being shown in the product idea by two manufacturers sent a follow-up letter to each company regarding the non-disclosure agreements they were sent on the date of the aforementioned posting.

To recap, both companies had received preliminary, non-confidential information on the invention, which is especially targeted at the camping industry, back in the fall. They found the materials to be of sufficient interest so as to request more details on the concept and had done so in late November. As per our normal procedure, Innovation Direct™ had sent the companies a non-disclosure agreement in response in order to facilitate the release of the detailed design information for each item. With a month having passed since that development, the follow-up letter and a second copy of the non-disclosure agreement that accompanied it were in order and were therefore sent today.

We will certainly update you here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog should there be any developments with either of these companies. Stay tuned for the latest!
