Update: Innovation Direct™ receives feedback from New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company on 4 inventions under review…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking back in after the long holiday weekend with an update on a situation we had most recently reported on in a May 19th entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives signed non-disclosure agreement from New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company; detailed design information on 4 inventions sent…“).

As we’d mentioned in that posting, a New York-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company that has been a part of the program for over one year had selected 4 inventions from their latest package for further review. They had been sent the detailed design information for each item on May 19th after having executed a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement that encompassed them, and earlier Tuesday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing their Innovation Direct To Industry™ account had sent them an e-mail requesting feedback.

Our contact at the company responded by explaining that 3 out of the 4 inventions would not be suited for their distribution channels but that the remaining one, a kitchen accessory, would possibly be of further interest. The contact requested that Innovation Direct™ find out if the inventor has a working prototype, as well as a couple of other details regarding the product’s proposed functionality. Accordingly, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the situation has already placed a call to the inventor and left a message regarding the manufacturer’s inquiries.

This is obviously a developing situation that is replete with potential and we will bring you news of any developments, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Check back with us often!
