Update: Innovation Direct™ receives questions regarding personal accessory’s functionality from Texas-based company after website review; conference call with inventor to potentially be scheduled…
Good morning, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in bright and early after the holiday weekend to get another great week started. Very late Thursday evening before the long weekend, Innovation Direct™ received an e-mail inquiry from our contact at a Texas-based manufacturer that had reviewed the invention website for a personal accessory from the Innovation Direct™ roster earlier in the day. We had most recently reported on this situation in an entry that Thursday, July 3rd (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives non-disclosure agreement from Texas-based company for personal accessory; access to detailed design information sent…“).
As we’d explained in that posting, the company had recently signed a non-disclosure agreement for the product idea and had been sent access to all of the detailed design information available for it that same Thursday. In the e-mail received, the manufacturer presented questions regarding the product’s functionality that were not addressed in the product description on the website. The Innovation Direct™ representative managing this company’s interest since its onset has already left a message for the inventor and has mentioned to the company representative that a conference call with the inventor may be the best way to proceed.
We will continue to update you on this developing situation every step of the way, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Check in often!
