Update: Innovation Direct™ receives signed Non-Disclosure and Secrecy Form from New Jersey-based manufacturer regarding medical accessory; access to detailed design information sent…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our first update for a Friday. Earlier this morning, Innovation Direct™ received a signed Non-Disclosure and Secrecy Form from a New Jersey-based manufacturer that had taken an initial interest in a medical accessory from our roster back in early June. We had first reported about this in a June 9th entry (“Innovation Direct™ inventor’s personal medical accessory receiving preliminary interest from New Jersey-based manufacturer; non-disclosure sent to company for signature…“).

As we’d stated in that posting, we had sent the company a non-disclosure agreement in response to their indication of initial interest. The company’s response was to send us their proprietary Non-Disclosure and Secrecy Form, which had terms that adequately protected the confidentiality of the invention. As a result, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the situation was able to send the contact at the manufacturer access to all of the detailed design information this morning.

We now await the company’s feedback on the material, and certainly hope that they will opt to move forward to the next step with regards to this product. Check in often for any updates to this situation!
