Update: Innovation Direct™ requests and receives update from Ohio-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company on 9 inventions being reviewed…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back with another report to wrap up our Thursday. Earlier Thursday afternoon, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of an Ohio-based company that is currently reviewing detailed design information on 9 product ideas requested an update via e-mail from our contact, the Sales and Operations Manager for the outfit. This is the same company and situation we had most recently reported on in an April 3rd entry (“Update: Ohio-based company retains further interest in more than half of Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas included in initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package…“).
As we’d explained in that posting, the company had retained an interest in 9 out of the 16 items they’d received preliminary, non-confidential information on in their initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package. After signing the requisite non-disclosure agreement, they had received access to all of the detailed design information available for the product ideas on April 3rd. With 2 weeks having elapsed since that point, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing their Innovation Direct To Industry™ account felt it would be prudent to follow up.
Our contact promptly responded to our correspondence and informed us that the company will hold their next new product review meeting on Monday, April 28th, where the Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas will be on the agenda for discussion and further evaluation. Accordingly, we are hopeful of receiving an update shortly after that date.
