Update: Innovation Direct™ seeks update from Massachusetts-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company on 3 inventions under review; exclusive developmental licensing agreements proposed…
Good day, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our first update for a Thursday. Earlier Thursday morning, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of a Massachusetts-based company we’d originally met at the ASI Show Chicago 2008 sent a follow-up e-mail to the company’s chief executive officer, who also serves as our primary contact, regarding the 3 inventions from their initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package that they’ve expressed an advanced level of interest in. We had most recently reported on this situation, and the fact that a decision from the company appeared imminent, in a September 25th entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives communication from Massachusetts-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ company regarding 3 inventions under review; decision appears imminent…“).
As we’d explained in that posting, the company CEO had indicated in an e-mail that morning that their board would be discussing the aforementioned trio of Innovation Direct™ inventor product ideas. However, with an absence of communication since that point, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the situation felt it would be prudent to request an update at this time. Along with the e-mail, Innovation Direct™ also sent a proposal for exclusive developmental licensing agreements for all 3 inventions, since the company does appear to continue to have a strong interest in all of them.
We are certainly hopeful that we will not only hear back from the manufacturer soon, but that it will be with very good news. Check in with the Innovation Direct™ Blog for the latest as it happens!
