Update: Innovation Direct™ sends follow-up letter to Ohio-based manufacturer regarding detailed design information sent on paint accessory…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a quick update on Innovation Direct™’s ongoing follow-up efforts on behalf of the inventions we represent. Earlier Friday, a letter requesting an update was sent to our contact at an Ohio-based manufacturer that had signed a non-disclosure agreement for a paint accessory from the Innovation Direct™ roster approximately one month ago, and that we had last reported on in a September 24th entry (“Innovation Direct™ inventor’s paint invention subject of initial interest from Ohio-based coatings manufacturer; non-disclosure agreement sent…“).
As we’d explained in that posting, the company had requested more details on the item after reviewing preliminary, non-confidential information about it, and had been sent a non-disclosure agreement by Innovation Direct™ in response. Two days after the aforementioned entry, the company had returned the guarantee of confidentiality signed and had therefore been furnished with access to detailed design information on the invention at that point.
We are hopeful that our communication efforts will prompt this company into providing us with a reply, but only time will tell. Join us here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog for any subsequent updates to this situation!
