Update: Innovation Direct™ sends information on medical accessory to Oregon-based company…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a mid-week update. Following up on a situation we most recently reported on in a May 12th entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives long-awaited response from medical manufacturer regarding invention that was subject of their advanced level of interest…“), an Innovation Direct™ representative has sent preliminary, non-confidential information on a medical accessory from the Innovation Direct™ roster to an Oregon-based company that had been recommended by the manufacturer that most recently was reviewing the item.
In an e-mail earlier Wednesday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing this situation explained to the principal of that Oregon-based manufacturer that a colleague of his in industry had recently reviewed the idea and had suggested that it would be potentially great fit for his company’s product lines. A non-disclosure agreement was also sent along with the e-mail and the preliminary materials, and it was explained to the contact at the company that if he did return it signed, he would receive access to all of the detailed design information available on the invention.
We now await his response and will certainly continue to update this matter as it develops, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Make this space a frequent stop!
