Update: Innovation Direct™ set to add California-based tool manufacturer to Innovation Direct To Industry™ program; initial package to be prepared soon…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our Tuesday update. we are pleased to report that Innovation Direct™ has had contact with one of the principals of a California-based tool manufacturer that was a fellow exhibitor at the National Hardware Show in May, and the company’s initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package is slated to be prepared soon.

Innovation Direct™ had first reached out to the manufacturer back in early September via a general e-mail, and had received a response from one of the company principals in early November via telephone. A brief conversation was conducted, during which the Innovation Direct To Industry™ program and Innovation Direct™’s business model was explained overall. The call was somewhat abbreviated because of other commitments on the part of the manufacturer representative, and subsequent attempts to continue the conversation have not yet yielded success, but there was a general understanding that the company was interested in beginning to receive information on new product ideas on an ongoing basis. Consequently, the first batch of invention information will be prepared for their review soon.
