Update: Innovation Direct™ inventor’s patent attorney speaks to Florida-based manufacturer regarding cleaning accessory; further discussion to continue next week…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, here with a follow-up on a situation we’d most recently reported on in an April 8th entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ speaks with inventor of cleaning accessory regarding manufacturer’s patent concerns; patent attorney information forwarded to company by inventor…“). Late Friday afternoon, the Innovation Direct™ representative that had negotiated an exclusive developmental licensing agreement with a Florida-based manufacturer for a cleaning accessory from our roster received word from the inventor of the product that his patent attorney had spoken to the licensee regarding their intellectual property questions.

Although full details are not yet available, the inventor’s legal counsel was apparently able to address whatever questions the company had for the time being. However, it is unclear as to what direction the manufacturer plans to go in from this point, so our aforementioned colleague will place a telephone call to them on Monday to determine this.
