Good afternoon, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back once again with an Innovation Direct To Industry™-related update. Earlier Wednesday, Innovation Direct™ received an e-mail reply to correspondence regarding the Innovation Direct To Industry™ program from California-based Lexcell USA, a manufacturer and marketer of small rechargeable batteries since 1997 and a fellow participant at last May’s National Hardware Show 2009.

The company expressed an interest in learning more about Innovation Direct™ and the Innovation Direct To Industry™ program in general. In response, the Innovation Direct™ representative that will manage their account explained that Innovation Direct™ represented inventors with product ideas all across the spectrum of development, and that the ultimate goal for the inventions represented was a product licensing agreement. Our colleague’s reply also encouraged the manufacturer to provide us with details on any additional categories of interest besides batteries.
