Update: Innovation Direct™ attempts follow-up with Michigan-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ hardware products manufacturer; package of inventions re-sent at company’s request…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back in the saddle with an update. Earlier Thursday, the Innovation Direct representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of a Michigan-based hardware products manufacturer that had been a fellow exhibitor at last year’s National Hardware Show sent a follow-up e-mail to his contact at the firm. We had last reported on this company and our previous attempt to follow up in a February 23rd entry (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives response from Michigan-based Innovation Direct To Industry™ hardware products company regarding requested follow-up; feedback on package possible next week…“).
As we’d explained in that posting, a personal medical emergency on the part of our contact at the company had prevented him from looking over the preliminary, non-confidential materials we’d sent him on 10 product ideas from our roster. The gentleman had agreed to review the inventions as soon as possible after the date of our last contact, but with almost 3 weeks having passed since that date and an absence of any feedback, the decision was made to try and reach out to the gentleman once more.
Our aforementioned colleague was able to make direct telephone contact with the manufacturer representative, who requested that the e-mail containing the Innovation Direct To Industry package be re-sent to him, as he had apparently deleted it during his process of catching up on correspondence after he’d returned to the office. This request was immediately complied with and we now await the company’s impressions on the information once again.
As soon as we have further news regarding this situation we’ll bring it to you, here on the Innovation Direct™ Blog. Stay tuned!
