Update: Innovation Direct™ conducts call with Northern Response International Limited; feedback on initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package expected early next week…
Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a quick update on a situation we had most recently reported on in a May 12th posting (“Update: Innovation Direct™ reschedules call with Northern Response International Limited for Friday…“). Earlier Friday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of Canadian infomercial powerhouse Northern Response International Limited conducted a scheduled telephone call with his contact at the company regarding our overall licensing process.
As we’d explained in previous entries concerning this company, the contact had requested to speak directly with our colleague as opposed to providing his feedback via e-mail on the 10 inventions they’d received in their initial Innovation Direct To Industry™ package. During today’s earlier conversation, the company representative explained that he actually wanted more of an overview on what the steps were from the initial point they were at right now.
After receiving a summary from our colleague of how a confidentiality agreement encompassing the inventions from the batch he deemed to be of further interest would be executed as the next step, and how there were various licensing options available for those items they still retained an interest in after viewing their detailed design information, the gentleman explained that he would try to re-read the preliminary materials on the concepts over the weekend. He also emphasized that he expected he would then be able to provide feedback on which product ideas he would want to sign a non-disclosure agreement for by early next week.
