Update: Innovation Direct™ follows up with West Coast-based industry partner regarding possible licensing agreement for pool accessory…

Good evening, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back with a very quick update on an ongoing situation we’d last reported about in a March 26th posting (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives latest update from West Coast-based industry partner regarding licensing agreement for pool accessory; company also seeking new category of inventions…“). Earlier Friday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of our often mentioned West Coast-based industry partner sent him an e-mail inquiring as to the status of the licensing agreement for a pool accessory from our roster that was supposed to be on the verge of being signed by a Canadian company he does business with. We had not heard any news from our industry colleague since the date of the aforementioned entry and therefore felt it would be prudent to attempt a follow-up at this point in time.

We are pleased to report that as per the reply received from our industry partner shortly after the communication was sent, the agreement is still due to be executed by the company. With the state of the economy still having a profound negative effect on many segments of business and industry, we had been concerned that perhaps financial woes had put the licensing plans for this product on hold, and were glad to receive confirmation that this was not the case.
