Greetings, Juan C. Blanco, Innovation Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with an update on a company we’d just reported on for the first time in an entry yesterday (“Update: Innovation Direct™ receives first response to post-National Hardware Show Innovation Direct To Industry™ e-mail campaign; first package of inventions to be put together soon…“). Earlier Wednesday, the Innovation Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct To Industry™ account of Ohio-based Around The Home, Inc. prepared and sent his contact at the company an Innovation Direct To Industry™ package consisting of preliminary, non-confidential information on 10 product ideas in the lawn and garden and pest control categories.

As we’d explained in the aforementioned entry, Around The Home was the first company to respond to our initial round of post-National Hardware Show 2009 e-mails advertising our dynamic new product information e-mail subscription service for manufacturers, Innovation Direct To Industry™. They had specified the lawn and garden and pest control areas as the categories of most interest at the present time, hence their initial package consisting of those types of inventions.
